Faculty Advisor
Dr. Tracy L. Lewis
Research Supervisor
Dr. Tracy L. Lewis
Description of Work
The goals of this project are to: (1) introduce a theoretical model of identifying patterns in the interface design of widely-used health information systems (2) present a systematic approach to transitioning between systems (3) promote a way of thinking that facilitates technology learning readiness. As a part of this research, we also seek to develop an information technology readiness (ITR) measure that will be designed to assess a student's ability to adapt to technological changes. Ultimately, the project will develop educational modules designed to facilitate technology adaptability and increase the number of technology-resilient nurses.
