NG Education is working on a new video and looking for a few excellent geo-educators to star in our production. Can you help find our perfect cast??
A Geo-educator is someone who …
- recognizes and cares that young people develop a deep understanding of the interconnected systems that make up our world
- emphasizes a rich and balanced approach to education and is committed to the idea of teaching beyond traditional disciplinary boundaries
For this project, we are looking for teachers in the following subjects, across grades:
- Environmental Science, Earth Science, Ecology, Foreign Languages and Cultures, Global Studies, History, Economics, Geography, and Civics
as well as out-of-school educators in fields like Outdoor Learning, Cultural Exchange, Place-based Education
Participation will require one or two pre-interview phone calls, as well as an all-expenses-paid trip to DC for the shoot in mid-to-late January for 2-3 days of filming.
