MyCOE GCE is connecting high school students in the U.S. with their peers abroad. Through virtual online meetings, high school students throughout the world will develop collaborative, youth-led projects that map sustainable development issues. These meetings are arranged through online video conferences, internet phone calls and chat sessions. International classrooms are located in Bolivia, Ghana, Nicaragua, and the Philippines. Project topics include environmental themes while enriching cultural literacy. Topic Areas are Climate Change, Food Security and Vulnerability, Green Economy, Natural Disasters and Hazards, Sustainable Development and Youth Leadership.
