Links to Library of Congress web sites designed for teachers have been added to our Teaching Resources page. The various sites include maps, geographic information, and lesson plans, including one on the 1507 Waldseemüller map, the first world map to use the name “America”. One site is especially for teachers in Northern Virginia.
