Each summer, the Virginia Historical Society, in conjunction with the University of Richmond’s School of Professional and Continuing Studies, offers its Story of Virginia Teachers Institute twice. This summer, the Institute will be held July 7-11 and again July 21-25. Each class is a week-long overview of Virginia history. Lunches and textbooks are provided and participating teachers receive three hours of graduate credit.
